  As a partner of Henderson & Lyman, Joe Girardi concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial real estate and environmental law, business reorganization and restructuring, and estate planning and wealth management. In the real estate and environmental areas, he represents owners, developers, landlords, tenants and other parties in all aspects of real estate transactions, as well as in environmental regulatory and enforcement proceedings, including Superfund matters and site remediation. In restructurings and reorganizations, Mr. Girardi counsels business entities in connection with devising strategies to meet the challenges of changing economic conditions, and the implementation of those strategies. In the wealth management area, he represents individuals in estate and tax planning matters, and in the preparation of customized financial planning instruments to meet the client's particular objectives.  He also represents trustees and other fiduciaries in the administration of trusts and estates.
