Matthew Kluchenek joins Henderson & Lyman.

Henderson & Lyman is pleased to announce that Matt Kluchenek has joined the firm as a partner.

Matthew Kluchenek has an extensive commodities and securities background. He has been involved in a wide variety of regulatory, transactional and litigation matters, and has provided counsel with respect to domestic and international matters involving the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, Financial Services Association and various exchanges, including the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).

Mr. Kluchenek most recently served as General Counsel to the DRW Trading Group, a large proprietary trading firm. Prior to joining DRW, he worked as a Director and Associate General Counsel at the CME, where he focused on regulatory matters and served as counsel to the Business Conduct Committee. Before CME, Mr. Kluchenek was a senior associate in the Trial Department at McDermott Will & Emery, where he worked on OTC derivatives, exchange-traded derivatives and securities matters. Mr. Kluchenek has also served as General Counsel of Computershare Investor Services, the world's largest transfer agent, and was integral in creating and counseling Computershare's SEC-registered brokerage operation. Finally, Mr. Kluchenek has served as an attorney at the Chicago Board of Trade, representing the exchange in disciplinary matters.

Mr. Kluchenek will concentrate his practice at Henderson & Lyman in the firm's commodities and securities practice area.

Matt received his LL.M in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center, Juris Doctor from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law, and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University, Chicago.
